Let’s Go Adelaide Hills offers many highlights conveniently packaged for discerning travellers.

Itinerary Highlights
  • First stop is Penfold’s Winery, producers of Australia’s most famous wine - Grange Hermitage. They have an amazing story and a luxurious facility.
  • We head to Mount Lofty for its panoramic view of Adelaide on one side and to experience the Botanic Gardens on the other side.
  • We then travel to Deviation Road Winery, famed for its exceptional, award-winning sparkling wines. It's a small enterprise, but perfectly formed.
  • Next is Australia’s oldest German town, Hahndorf, for a walk along the main street and lunch.
  • We aim to make one last stop for a final refreshment at either a winery or perhaps one the many historic pubs in this area.
  • Finally we head back down onto the Plains in order to get you back to your accommodation by 5:00pm.
Good to Know
  • This is a full day tour, from 9am to 5pm.
  • Some walking is involved, around 3 kilometres of variable terrain, so we recommend sturdy, enclosed footwear.
  • The Adelaide Hills can be 5-10 degrees Celsius cooler than the Adelaide Plains. We recommend you prepare for changing weather conditions with a coat, wet weather jacket, hat and sunscreen.
  • This tour is best suited to adults. However, if you would like children along with us they are welcome as the tour can be made more inclusive for little people and family groups, but it is important to let us know beforehand.
  • You can vary this tour with other attractions, for example regional art galleries, cultural hubs, select retail outlets and more. Just let us know what else interests you!
